Ghassan Bejjani

Ghassan is a private investor and consultant based between New York and Beirut; he is also a senior LIFE (Lebanese International Finance Executive) member.

Until the end of 2007, Ghassan was a general partner of Morgan Stanley Venture Partners in NY. Previously, he had held several management positions in Morgan Stanley's IT department in NY and Tokyo and has served as a Director of many technology companies such as Valoris, Band-X, Plateau Systems, etc.

Ghassan has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry in the US, and has privileged access to LIFE and Lebnet members in order to help support promising Lebanese IT start-ups and implement the agenda of the LIFE – Lebnet IT Initiative (The LIFE – Lebnet IT initiative’s goal is to re-invigorate the IT start-up ecosystem and to build lasting bridges between the Lebanese members of this ecosystem in Lebanon and abroad. The initiative has raised $500K so far).

Ghassan holds an Engineering Diploma in Public Works from L'Ecole Centrale de Paris in 1983 and an M.S. in Civil Engineering, Technology, and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1985.
