James Chamoun

James is an Associate at MEVP, where he focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and supporting early- and growth-stage technology investments across the GCC and Levant markets.

Before joining MEVP, James served as a VC Analyst at IM Ventures, contributing to the identification and assessment of potential and existing portfolio companies. His background also includes consultancy work in Romania, where he structured agreements for private and public entities in the agriculture sector. An entrepreneur at heart, James previously founded, scaled, and successfully exited his own gaming-tech startup, providing him with firsthand experience in product development and the challenges faced by tech founders.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Lebanese American University in Beirut and a Master’s degree in Finance from IÉSEG School of Management in Paris.
